Safe Environment Training needs to be completed or renewed beginning July 1st!
We wish for all willing volunteers to be ready to serve, and, in order to do so, ALL volunteers need to be in compliance. The mission of Safe Environment Training is to prevent sexual, physical, or emotional abuse and/or neglect of children and young people and vulnerable adults through continued education, building awareness, and maintaining a commitment to keeping all children and young people and vulnerable adults (no matter their age) safe.
The Diocese of Phoenix requires ALL volunteers to complete and remain in compliance with Safe Environment Training (SET) found at CMG (Catholic Mutual Group) at https://phoenix.cmgconnect.org. There are step by step instructions for each session needed.
FOUNDATION: is a ONE TIME ONLY 2 hour initial session (for those who have never taken the SET for the Diocese of Phoenix or who have lapsed for over 2yrs) that includes a mandatory national background check. The Diocese has authorized an ONLINE training. Please visit: https://phoenix.cmgconnect.org for Foundation Training.
RENEWAL: Please be advised if 2020 SET (renewal) was not taken your account has been archived. PLEASE do NOT create a new account. Instead, AFTER JULY 1, 2021 please contact OLMC SET coordinator: Julie Gradillas at 480-967-8791 x228 or email@example.com to reactivate your account or for more information.
