OCIT – Order of Christian Initiation for Teens
OCIT (Order of Christian Initiation for Teens) is a sacrament prep program for Teens (6th-12th Grade) preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and/or, First Holy Communion (Eucharist).

OCIT Sacramental preparation is a 2-year program:
Year A: Teens will attend the Edge (6th-8th on Tuesday nights) or Life Teen (9th-12th on Sunday nights) youth ministry programs and Teens are required to participate in at least one fall or spring retreat.
Cost: $150 per teen for Edge and $250 for Life Teen*
Year B: Teens will attend sacramental preparation class weekly on Sundays 10:30-11:45am in the school classrooms. Optional parent sessions with take place at the same time in McCready Hall. Teens are encouraged but not required to continue attending Edge and Life Teen in the second year.
Cost: $75 per teen for 6th-12th**
* Cost for Year A includes the registration fee for Edge and Life Teen and the cost for one retreat. (Teens in Year A do not need to register separately for Edge or Life Teen, the OCIT registration form will register your teen for these programs. You will receive a 100% discount code to use when registering for the Edge or Life Teen Retreat in the Fall or Spring.)
**Cost for Year B covers the fee for the sacrament prep classes. In addition, you will receive a 100% discount code to waive the registration fee for Edge or Life Teen in the second year (Teens in Year B will need to register for Edge and Life Teen separately.)
All fees will be due at the completion of the registration form.
NOTE: Confirmation Sponsors and parents of the second-year candidate for confirmation will need participate 3 in person meetings.
