Dear Parishioners,

As your pastor, my goal, as I have repeatedly told you, is to help lead you to heaven, and our mission as a parish is to help everyone who walks through our doors to heaven. This continues to be a great blessing and joy for me to walk this journey of faith with you. I love you deeply, and I am grateful every day for your commitment to our parish, our school, and to one another. It is in this spirit of gratitude and love that I invite you to participate in our second Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish and School Endowment Drive.

Stewardship is not simply something we do; it is a way of life. It is our response to God, who has given us everything. As faithful stewards, we are called to care for what has been entrusted to us today, while also preparing responsibly for the future.

At this time, we are addressing several important needs within our parish church. These include repairing and replacing our aging pews, enhancing the beauty of our sacred space, improving our sound system so the Word of God may be clearly heard, and updating our sanctuary to better reflect the reverence we hold for God’s house and provide additional security. These efforts are about more than buildings; they are about creating a space that welcomes, inspires, and lifts hearts to heaven.

Our school also remains very close to my heart. One current priority is the installation of awnings on several school buildings to provide shade and protection for our students as they move throughout campus. These improvements help ensure that our children are cared for in an environment that is safe, dignified, and worthy of their formation as young disciples of Christ.

Alongside these present needs, we have been intentional in strengthening our Parish and School Endowment Funds. While we work to address and improve what is needed now, the endowments help us care for and maintain these same blessings in the years ahead. By God’s grace, we have not withdrawn from these funds, allowing them to grow as a safeguard for the future and a sign of prudent stewardship. An endowment is not about short-term solutions; it is about ensuring that Our Lady of Mount Carmel remains strong, faithful, and financially stable for generations yet to come.

Together, we can meet the needs before us today while planting seeds that will bless future parishioners, students, and families. Thank you for your faith, your generosity, and your love for Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
