As Catholics we believe, that according to His word in the Gospel, Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the sacred Host. Adoration is a wonderful aspect of our Eucharistic life in which we adore Him present in the Monstrance in the altar. When the Eucharist is exposed for veneration there should be at least one person present throughout the entire time. Everyone is welcomed to join us in prayer for as long as they want even if you don’t sign up. But we encourage you to sign up for a Holy Hour so that we can make sure that Our Lord always has company throughout the day. The hour you sign up for is spent in silent prayer and meditation. You may bring your own prayer books, read the Bible, pray the rosary, or just sit and enjoy the peace that comes from simply being in the Presence of God.
People who join this ministry commit to spending at least 30 or 60 minutes before our Eucharistic Lord on Mondays between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Also, we are currently looking for people who want to join the Adoration Ministry Committee

Living Rosary Group
The Living Rosary Groups honor Our Blessed Mother by praying the rosary, and we serve the church by praying for fallen away Catholics, parish convert work, spiritual and temporal welfare of Priests, Sisters, Seminarians, Deacons and Brothers. We also pray for the spiritual and temporal welfare of the parish, also vocations and our own personal intentions. There are 8 groups that meet once a month in a member’s home. Each member is assigned a special intention decade to pray daily. If you’re interested in volunteering for this ministry please contact the ministry head. During Covid we continue to meet virtually.
Mom’s Rosary Group
If you would like to join a group of OLMC mothers in rosary, we would love to pray with you! We usually meet on a school day morning, but during Covid, we have been praying the rosary each Thursday at 1:30 via zoom but we plan to start meeting again soon. Any parent who would like to join is welcome. Please email us.
The Carmelitas of Our Lady of Mount Carmel gather once a month in prayer and community to produce rosaries for distribution during outreach, during hospital visits, homebound visits and special events at Mount Carmel. If you’re interested in this ministry please contact the ministry head.
The Feast of Pentecost Ministry
Every year we do a Holy Spirit Novena before the feast of Pentecost. We welcome parishioners to help plan and prepare the parish in celebration for the Pentecost. Typically held in May or June each year. We coordinate the Holy Spirit Novena, and at times a parish celebration.
